Ram Parivar comprising Idol of Ram, Lakshman, Sita and Hanuman attractively made for home or office temple.
Rama, prince of Ayodhya, won the hand of beautiful princess Sita, but was exiled with her and his brother Laksmana for 14 years through the plotting of his stepmother. In the forest, Sita was abducted by Ravana, and Rama gathered an army of monkeys headed by Hanuman and endured to search for her. The allies attacked Lanka, killed Ravana, and released Sita. In order to prove her chastity, Sita entered into fire, but was vindicated by the gods and returned to her husband. After the couple’s successful return to Ayodhya, Rama’s honorable rule (Ram rajya) inaugurated a golden age for all manhood.
Idols are not the idle fancies of sculptors, but shining channels through which the heart of the devotee is attracted to and flows towards God. Though the image is venerated, the devotee feels the presence of the Lord in it and pours out his devotion unto it. Regular worship and puja of the idol unveils the Divinity latent in it. This is truly a wonder and a miracle. The picture comes to life. The idol speaks. It will answer your questions and solve your problems. The God in you has the power to awaken the latent Divinity in the idol. The lives of Mirabai, Sant Tukaram, Shri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Shri Yogananda are a few examples to prove this point. They proved beyond doubt that idol worship has its own brighter side and through simple faith and intense devotion one can realize God through it.
